I came across netvibes.com recently whilst trying to find a decent and unobtrusive rss feed reader, it has to be said, I am really impressed with the ajax-style programming on this site. It is really slick, intuitive and feels like a solid webtop application.

Thanks for sharing the netvibes.com link. What a great piece of software.
I know a lot of vendors are experimenting with a personal portal page but this is the best I´ve seen so far.
I think what also makes it a breeze to use is the great localization that is build right in. Speaking to users in their natural tongue and even presenting local content is the key to user loyality.
It is super-fast and easy-to-use which add up a lot of value to a great user experience. They´ve done a lot of things right here.
